Our client, a growing and highly entrepreneurial real estate company, whose business efforts include the ownership and management of commercial and multifamily assets, is looking to add to their team. In your new role as the Property Administrator (Edmonton, AB), you will partner with the Property Management team, overseeing the property administrative efforts attached to their expanding portfolio and acting as a first point of contact for tenants, vendors, contractors and the like.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with a highly knowledgeable team, promoting your capacity for adding value to the operation and demonstrating your dexterity to act as a strong pivot. You have a comfort level and good comprehension for numbers and pre-accounting activities, possessing the attention and focus for managing detailed work.
Your current exposure to multi-family and/or commercial property administration has you ready to take on this new role where your talent and dexterity will be highly supported and appreciated. You enjoy working in an organized, busy, flexible and happy environment. You are regaled for your strong capacity to prioritize, meet timelines and work with the accounting information (rent, P.Os, invoices, utilities, etc). focusing on a variety of logistically laden tasks at once, especially during month-end.
You like being the “go-to” person for your team, building mutual trust and being leaned on for your ability to stay on top of things and deliver detailed work. Demonstrating your commitment and capacity to master your job will garner you the ability to progress and become a Property Manager.
Your exceptional written and oral communication dexterity, self-motivation and current exposure to property management administration provides you with a strong foundation for this position. Knowledge of Buildiem Property Management software (or the like and ability to learn) and comfort level using MS Office products, especially Excel, is a definite asset, as is a desire to work and be valued in a high functioning and happy environment.
