Director, Property Management (Edmonton, AB) – No Longer Available

Our client, a privately owned and nationally recognized commercial and residential property management firm with a presence in Canada and the US, is in a strategic growth cycle. As such, they are in search of a dynamic Director, Property Management to lead an exclusive and niche residential portfolio in their Edmonton (Alberta) Office. If you are a developed residential property professional who possesses a solid track record in business development, portfolio management, and team leadership, this opportunity may offer you the career advancement you have been seeking.

Unique Role: Our client has a strong legacy and track record for delivering responsive and quality-based advisory services. They are fervent about maintaining that reputation. Forward-thinking, they have developed a new vertical in their residential advisory services area that specializes in mid to high-value single-unit assets, including stand-alone homes, used for rental or long-term vacation stays. This is a unique and new position in their Edmonton office, one that isn’t fully defined by the job title.

Leadership: As a mentor and coach, you’ll build trust, provide support and offer constructive feedback to your small team. Ensuring compliance with provincial regulations, you’ll elevate quality and continuous improvement, client satisfaction, tenant retention, and programming. Reporting to a Senior Leader in Vancouver and taking advantage of the company’s robust infrastructure, you will be given a lot of support and autonomy to grow and lead this portfolio.

Beyond the Fit Requirements: To excel in this role, you will possess a strong and sophisticated background in residential real estate management. A valid Property Management Real Estate license is essential, as is your ability to demonstrate proficiency in residential rental portfolio management. Having excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong self-motivation and self-reliance capacities, and the ability to collaborate and influence others will set you up for great success. A valid driver’s license and a good working knowledge of MS Office and Yardi software are considered assets.
