My client is a privately held, multi-company real estate group in Edmonton that operates across the Commercial, Multi-Family Rental, and Condominium sectors. This group has built its success on long-term relationships, integrity, and steady growth and they’re now looking for a Property Accountant (Edmonton, AB) to help them take their accounting function to the next level.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take the lead on full-cycle accounting for a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and condo properties. That includes:
- Preparing monthly financials, bank reconciliations and budget tracking
- Managing rent rolls, payables, receivables and tenant chargebacks
- Supporting budgeting for operations and capital projects
- Collaborating with property managers to align finances with real-world needs
- Refining bookkeeping processes to improve flow, accuracy and accountability
- Communicating with internal and external parties

We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance OR proven experience in a similar property management accounting role
- Brings at least 3 years of experience in property management accounting with exposure to Condo, Rental and/or Commercial portfolios
- Is comfortable working independently with full-cycle accounting
- Is familiar and knowledgable with Excel
- Has experience with Buildium Accocunting Software (a bonus, not a must!) or offers exposure to other property accounting software
- Thrives in a collaborative, privately held company where people matter
