Our client, a very well established and constantly growing company, headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta with offices across Western Canada, is looking to add a technically savvy and energetic Inside Sales Representative (Langley, BC) to help them remain an industry leader within the North American market place. Producing a range of specialty industrial and construction related products and boasting very low staff turnover, this entrepreneurial and privately owned business has formed a relaxed, integrated and people-based culture that recognizes and rewards talent for their exceptional contributions.  If you have a penchant for technically based inside sales and are motivated to work in a positive environment that has an industry diverse B2B customer base then this may be the right opportunity for you.

YOUR TALENTS   You possess a keen ability to develop relationships quickly and assess customer needs.  Whether it’s the industrial or construction sector, you have a knack for negotiating, listening, problem solving and/or creating estimates and RFP’s.  This has enabled you to follow-up and qualify leads generated by trade shows, platforms and marketing campaigns. You have demonstrated successes in working closely and collaborating with the Outside Sales and production groups. Your strong understanding of your “audience” and products has aided you when helping develop RFPs, quotes, supporting marketing initiatives and up-selling.   You are versed in utilizing Microsoft Dynamix AX, Salesforce and/or CRM software.

YOUR ABILITIES   You possess a keen ability for basic mathematical calculations and measurement conversions, allowing you to collaborate effectively with Engineering and Design personnel for cost estimation and timelines. Your time management skills and attention to detail are stellar and have assisted you in expediting in a timely manner to meet the customers’ demands and schedules. Your written and verbal communication competencies are equally good, along with your listening dexterity and capacity to assess and execute. You are computer/software savvy and have an exposure to blueprints and drawings.  Former colleague and leaders have regaled you for positivity, self-motivation and enthusiasm. You are looking to plant yourself, hone your skills and build your career.

WIN THE JOB   Your Post-secondary education in a related discipline or an acceptable combination of education and 3+ year’s inside sales or CSR work experience is ideal to create success with this new job.  Exposure within the industrial, construction or manufacturing industry with a proficiency for reviewing specs and creating calculations would be considered an asset, along with computer proficiencies (MS Office Suite, Web Based CRM applications, ERP systems).
