Property Manager (Edmonton, AB) – No Longer Available

Our client, a one of Canada’s most exciting and largest strategic developers and owners of Commercial Real Estate, is in search of a talented Property Management to oversee a significant Edmonton based portfolio.  Having earned a reputation for operating with in-depth bench strength and tenant-centric services, they are excited to add a like-minded professional to their high functioning team.  As their new Property Manager, (Edmonton, AB), you will play a critical role in creating superior tenant satisfaction by applying an approach that will result in the operational excellence of your portfolio.

Your Talent | Receiving support and reporting to the Director, Property Management, you will lean heavily on your vast property management intelligence, including leading and mentoring a small team and applying your financial prowess.  Beyond your capability to add depth to the current operation, your aptitude for effective communication and dexterity for developing transparent relationships, with tenants, teams, peers and the leadership group, is key to your success and advancement. You possess a penchant for being strategically hands-on, proactive and highly organized. Your retail property management knowledge and competencies that have assisted you in delivering service excellence.   You have the emotional intelligence to manage well through change and challenge, meeting objectives and generating above average accomplishments.

What You Need To Win This Job | Your proven track record for successfully managing a 1M sq.ft.+ mixed use retail portfolio, including exposure to new/re-development, along with budget management, tenant communication, gold standard property programming and executing capital expenditures, tenant improvements and preventative maintenance projects, will give you a leg up in attaining this position.  A strong understanding of accounting principles as they relate to property management (JD Edwards a plus) is also key to being successful in this role. A post-secondary education and/or specific CRE/Property Management designations (CRM), including a current Real Estate License, will aid in your capacity to attain this position.
