YOU ENJOY

·       Owning a supportive stand-alone full-cycle accounting with confidence and independence

·       Understanding and managing financial flow across interrelated entities using Quickbooks

·       Identifying discrepancies early and resolving them proactively

·       Closing month-end accurately and on time — consistently

·       Working collaboratively with external public accounting partner

·       Delivering reporting that supports informed, strategic decision-making

·       Operating with autonomy and accountability — without micromanagement

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

You will oversee full-cycle accounting across four operating companies, including:

·       GST filings

·       Bank reconciliations

·       Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

·       Invoicing

·       Intercompany transactions

·       Project-driven accounting

·       Month-end close

·       Financial reporting

·       Payroll administration

·       Coordination with the external public accounting firm

You will report directly to the President — a magnanimous, supportive leader who believes in empowering capable people and rewarding strong performance.  You will also collaborate cross-functionally, ensuring financial clarity supports operational success across the organization.

SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

·       Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting (no designation required)

·       QuickBooks Certification (or strong advanced proficiency)

·       5+ years of proven full-cycle accounting experience

·       Experience in commercial real estate, construction, project-based, or multi-entity environments (strong asset)

·       Solid understanding of intercompany financial flow

·       Strong attention to detail, organization and high personal accountability

·       Ability to work independently, manage timelines, ask questions and meet monthly deliverables with consistency

·       You take pride in accuracy.

·       You understand timing.

·       You see accounting as the operational backbone of a business — not just a task list.
