SENIOR CLIENT SUCCESS MANAGER (Project Management) Edmonton, Ab

Internal Client Representative | Development Project Leadership | Build-to-Suit & Land Development

Are you ready to step into a highly visible and impactful role within a growth-minded, entrepreneurial commercial real estate organization?

My client, a privately owned and highly respected commercial real estate owner/developer, is seeking a Senior Client Success Manager to act as an internal client representative and project leader for complex development initiatives, including significant high-value build-to-suit projects and land development across a growing portfolio.

Reporting directly to the President and working collaboratively with internal departments, consultants, municipalities, contractors, tenants, and external stakeholders, this role sits at the intersection of relationship management, project leadership, development execution, and strategic communication.

This is not a traditional construction project management role.

It is an opportunity for a polished, commercially astute professional to become the connective tissue between leadership, development activity, tenant commitments, and project execution — ensuring projects move forward with alignment, accountability, professionalism, and clarity.

If you thrive in environments where trust, relationships, critical thinking, and operational sophistication matter, this role offers the opportunity to become a highly valued contributor within an organization experiencing meaningful growth and momentum.

STEP INTO A ROLE WHERE YOU CAN MAKE A LASTING IMPACT

As Senior Client Success Manager, you will serve as the organization’s internal representative and strategic liaison throughout the lifecycle of development and construction projects.

You will help guide projects from early planning through execution and delivery — ensuring stakeholders remain aligned, communication remains proactive, risks are identified early, and projects continue advancing in accordance with timelines, budgets, objectives, and the client experience expectations of the organization.

Working closely with the President and various internal teams, you will play a critical role in helping the company successfully navigate the growing complexity attached to expansion, tenant development commitments, and land development initiatives.

Your ability to foster strong relationships, manage nuance, coordinate moving parts, and maintain professionalism under pressure will directly influence both project outcomes and the company’s reputation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the internal client representative and primary liaison for development, build-to-suit, land development, and tenant improvement projects
• Partner closely with the President and leadership team to support strategic project execution and organizational priorities
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments including leasing, operations, accounting, property management, and executive leadership to ensure project alignment and continuity
• Facilitate communication between consultants, municipalities, contractors, tenants, ownership groups, and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
• Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, risks, deficiencies, change orders, and key milestones, escalating concerns proactively when required
• Help ensure projects are advancing in alignment with approved scopes, financial expectations, development objectives, and tenant commitments
• Support land development initiatives including servicing coordination, municipal processes, permitting, approvals, and stakeholder communication
• Lead and coordinate meetings, project discussions, updates, and follow-through actions with professionalism and accountability
• Deliver concise, polished written and verbal reporting to executive leadership regarding project status, challenges, risks, and recommended solutions
• Foster strong working relationships across all stakeholder groups while helping create positive and collaborative project experiences
• Bring structure, organization, and process discipline to complex and evolving projects within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve communication flow, project coordination, systems, and operational efficiencies
• Assist with budgeting discussions, forecasting coordination, and financial tracking in collaboration with Finance and Accounting
• Navigate issues, competing priorities, and project complexities with professionalism, diplomacy, objectivity, and sound judgement
• Represent the organization with credibility, responsiveness, and a solutions-oriented mindset both internally and externally
• Perform additional project leadership and strategic coordination responsibilities as required within a growing organization

EMBRACE A DISTINCTIVE CULTURE WHERE PEOPLE MATTER

You will thrive here if you appreciate:

• A highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where initiative and accountability are valued
• A culture grounded in trust, humility, transparency, and mutual respect
• A workplace where relationships, communication, and professionalism genuinely matter
• Leaders who value critical thinking, ownership, and proactive problem-solving
• An organization experiencing exciting growth and evolution
• A high-performing yet down-to-earth team environment that values positivity, collaboration, and good people
• An environment where your voice, perspective, and contributions are genuinely welcomed and respected

YOUR TALENT & PROFESSIONAL STRENGTHS

The ideal candidate brings:

• 5+ years of experience within commercial real estate development, construction, owner’s representation, project management, or related environments
• Exposure to build-to-suit projects, tenant improvements, commercial construction, and/or land development initiatives
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder coordination capabilities across diverse groups
• Excellent communication skills, including polished written reporting and confident verbal communication
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and project coordination capabilities within fast-paced environments
• The ability to navigate competing priorities, evolving situations, and project complexities with composure and professionalism
• Commercial acumen and an understanding of development processes, project delivery, budgets, and construction workflows
• High emotional intelligence, diplomacy, and the ability to foster alignment and collaboration
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• A proactive, accountable, and solutions-oriented mindset
• The ability to work both strategically and operationally — balancing big-picture thinking with detail orientation
• Experience working collaboratively with executives, consultants, contractors, municipalities, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with Yardi, construction management platforms, or development tracking systems is considered an asset
