FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING EXECUTIVE – COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE (Edmonton, AB)

THIS IS THE KIND OF FINANCE LEADERSHIP ROLE THAT DOESN’T COME ALONG OFTEN.

Some finance roles are focused on reporting what happened. This role is about helping shape what happens next.

Our client is a highly respected, privately held real estate owner and developer that has built its reputation through disciplined growth, long-term relationships, entrepreneurial thinking, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Title? It’s open and is dependent on the alignment you bring to the company and the ROI talent you bring to the role.

As the organization’s most senior finance leader and a key member of the Executive Team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the President, a hands-on and strategic business partner to ownership and leadership, and a highly engaged leader who helps drive performance, growth, and value creation across the organization.

This is not a finance role that operates from the sidelines. It is a visible leadership position that requires collaboration, communication, curiosity, and the ability to work through and alongside people to create better outcomes. To be clear, you are not just orchestrating and delegating – you are also doing.

You will be equally comfortable discussing capitalization strategies with lenders, reviewing development proformas, mentoring accounting professionals, partnering with operational leaders, and helping ownership identify opportunities to create additional value across the portfolio.

If you are a high-touch, relationship-oriented leader who enjoys combining strategy with execution and helping organizations grow, this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for. My client welcomes exceptional talent and is open to a title that befits you and the company.
