What areas does AVID EXEC serve?
Based in Edmonton. Conducting search and recruitment across Edmonton, Calgary, Alberta, Western Canada and nationally as required. The Alberta market is where AVID's network is deepest.
How does AVID EXEC charge for a search?
Retained search is a percentage of first-year compensation, engaged in stages against an agreed fee and a defined market map. Contingency recruitment is paid only on placement. Advisory work is scoped separately. Fees are confirmed in writing before any search work begins.
How confidential is a conversation with AVID EXEC?
Completely. Candidate conversations are never shared with an employer without explicit permission, and client mandates are frequently unadvertised. Nothing about a résumé, a compensation figure or an exploratory call leaves the firm without consent.
What should we have ready before we call a search firm?
You do not need a finished job summary. It helps to be able to say what the role exists to change, who it reports to and works alongside, and what the first twelve months should produce. AVID builds the opportunity assessment and search criteria from there; the earlier that conversation starts, the better the shortlist.
