Operations Accountant – Property/Asset Management (Edmonton, Alberta) – NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Our client, a long standing and very well respected owner/developer in the commercial real estate arena, is in search of an Operations Accountant (Edmonton, Alberta).  Reporting to an incredibly supportive Controller and also receiving delegated duties from a exemplary CFO, you will be empowered to manage functions related to property and asset management and construction/development, including full cycle accounting, monthly reporting, construction cost reporting, reconciliation, annual preparations, analysis, disbursements, cashflow and budget variance reporting. This organization boasts a small team of personable, energetic, and self-motivated employees who demonstrate a high degree of commitment and  bench strengths that add depth to the overall operations success.

Your 5+ years accounting exposure in the commercial real estate arena (asset and property management) or project based accounting experience in construction or relate industry , along with a  post-secondary education in accounting, will aid in your success in attaining this role.   Your proven ability to manage detail and work with accounting software (YARDI Voyager) and Microsoft Office (with a high ability to maneuver in Excel) will also be of great benefit.
