Marketing Director (Edmonton, AB) – NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Our client, a highly successful and well established manufacturing company, headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, is looking for a communicative, savvy and energetic Marketing Director. YOUR ABILITIES   You possess a hands-on talent for collaboration and leading a wide range of marketing strategies that span the North America market place. Whether working with the national sales group to drive leads, creating an online marketing program for inside sales or bringing new products to market with the research & development team, you strive to improve, integrate, innovate and optimize.    Your experience has enabled you to develop, lead and execute highly focused marketing plans, initiatives and projects that utilize print mediums, communication strategies, technologies and platforms in an effort to better promote your company’s products, generate customers and further penetrate the market. Your in-depth understanding of the market and customer, along with your ability to source and work with subject matter experts, has aided in your success.  You are versed in utilizing Salesforce and/or CRM software.

WIN THE JOB   Your post-secondary education in marketing, along with 8+ years of progressive experience in the industrial or manufacturing company, as a consultant or with a creative agency will heighten you in this competition. Having the competencies to lead and mentor a small team, along with managing vendors, adds to your ability to attain this role. Practiced knowledge of different marketing technologies/platforms (including SEO), Microsoft Office and experience with Sales Force or a related CRM software is also very valuable. Please Note:  There is minimal (scheduled) travel that will be required, so a valid passport and the ability to meet any travel requirements to the USA and internationally is compulsory.
