EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (Edmonton, Alberta) – PLACED

Our client, an established and highly successful not-for profit association who serves over 1800 members, is in search of a new Executive Director (Edmonton, Alberta).  Reporting to the Board of Directors and acting as the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide leadership to staff, volunteers, the board and members in accordance with the vision and mission of the organization.  Your demonstrated success patterns for leading people, executing strategic plans, setting priorities and demonstrating informed decision making that has produced measurable outcomes, makes you a great fit for this new job opportunity.

VISIBILITY   Acting as a key ambassador, you understand the need to create visibility for the organization that you represent.  Your solid exposure in passive and active marketing, including sitting on various community, provincial and federal committees, will lend itself well in this new job.  Possessing a good working knowledge of technology, along with social medial utilization, will assist you in promoting your organizations services.

QUALIFICATIONS   Your progressive leadership experience in the not-for-profit arena, passion for senior driven issues, and ability to meet the needs to various key stakeholders will give you a leg up in this competition.  Exposure to revenue development, building infrastructure and working with boards will also lead to a positive outcome. Possessing a post-secondary education, demonstration of strong and consistent success patterns and leading organizations to higher levels of effectiveness is key to your success in this new job.
